This is a indepth writing on how to spiritually bless and keep our homes spiritually clean and why we need to. I know this writing will help the newer and the old Christian alike. I pray it blesses you.
"How can we spiritually lock satan's doors of "opportunity and access" to our lives? By spiritually cleansing our homes." Part 1 One thing we as Christians (as a whole) need to know more about is how to walk in the authority that Jesus gave us and to use that authority to protect our families and homes.
Luke 10:19 NIV 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy.
The moment a person makes the decision to allow God to change them and to bring spiritual
growth into their life satan will make the decision and the commitment to oppose you from
attaining that change and growth.
A Christian bent on adhering their lives unto what God's will is for their life will find them
selves many times, whether they fully realize it or not, doing battle with the devil (spiritual
warfare). As that Christian grows, more times than not they will face a challenge each time
their growth in God is about to bring a positive change to their lives for satan will use every
opportunity available to him to attack and bring an opposition to that change /growth. By an
opportunity satan has to come into a situation he will cause turmoil and distraction in our life
to oppose this change. Why? In the hopes to discourage this person by the struggle he is
causing them to get them off track. Satan wants us to give up and to stop focusing on the
positive we are beginning to walk in.
Ephesians 6:10-12 NKJV 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power
of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the
wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of
wickedness in the heavenly places etc.
One of the most important places we need to use the knowledge we have gained about who we are in Christ and wield the authority given to us by Christ is in our own homes, for this is where we live and where we will be attacked the most. Anytime things get rough in our homes (financial stress, argumentative spouse, or a spouse going through transitional changes, a disobedient, or rowdy unruly child, loss of a job etc.) then satan will come gushing into our homes through the turmoil these situations will produce. (That is if these hardships are producing turmoil, confusion, upset etc, to you and your home.) But unless you are a seasoned Christian that has learned not to keep your eyes upon the storm and knows how to keep their eyes on Christ by faith at these times of hardship, satan will take advantage of this open door to cause havoc.
These are open doors to satan and opportunities for him to challenge our faith by and if he can to cause us to fall away from our faith. Hardships and dysfunctional living (living in a way that is not according to God's ways) not to mention sin and deliberate sin produce opportunities for satan to meddle in our lives. This being the case we need to learn how to be close the doors of opportunity to satan. One way to close these doors is by making the decision to commit our lives to God and to surrender ourselves unto every way in which God wants to change us and committing ourselves to doing what we need to do in that change. Another way is to incorporate and use all of the knowledge and spiritual wisdom we have gained in our walk with the Lord and to start walking in our purpose (what God purposes for us) and wealding our spiritual authority where needed.
Joshua 24:15 NIV But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
We need to walk in our purpose and use our authority in Christ to close doors to satan
and to encourage more growth in our life. The purpose of this writing is to shine a light on
a topic that I believe most Christians don't practice often enough, don't recognize the
importance of, or understand the necessity to do so. What is the topic? Spiritually
cleansing, blessing and safeguarding our homes to remove opportunities and close as
many doors as possible to satan from operating in our homes.
As I said satan is committed to chase after his opportunities to get a foothold into our life
to cause us hardship and as I also said this is where satan will attack us the most (in our homes)
for this is where we will experience and deal with the struggles these hardships will cause us.
The ups and downs of marriage and the raising of our family. The dealing with the pressures
of attaining work, work schedules, paying bills and unexpected expenses. Everything that
negatively affects our lives and the lives of our children affects our homes and so we need to
understand how satan can gain access to our lives when life and it's difficulties overwhelm us.
We need to know how we can use our 'spiritual' authority to speak the power of Christ to bless our homes (to dedicate and purify our home with God's Spirit), to expel satan's influences from our home when we realize his influences are in our homes, to break curses and remove cursed objects from our homes, to protect our family by the name of Jesus Christ and to block satan from using a member of our household to disrupt the harmony of our home etc,.
We need to learn how to safeguard our homes and close as many doors to satan as possible
from attacking us in our homes so that when a difficulty does present itself to us satan will not
be able to create more out of that situation than what he is capable of doing. Why? Because by
spiritually cleansing our home and by making that conscious effort to do so we will have locked
him out of our homes.
Locked out = limiting his ability to work inside of our home to negatively affect the
members of the home and cause more stress and worry than what the situation calls for.
When we move into a new residence and the keys are given to us we don't want satan to
have a copy of those keys as well and so we need to spiritually set in motion the process of
blessing and safe guarding our home from allowing satan easy access to our home. A basic
practice I believe most Christians should know more about and practice is "spiritually cleaning,
blessing and safe guarding our homes" and is what I will be teaching as thoroughly as possible
in this writing.
