Deliverance from oppression Prayer

    Jesus Christ I confess and I proclaim that You are the Lord of my life and that the stripes
You bore on the Cross at Calvary has established You my Redeemer. I proclaim that Jehovah
creator of the heavens and the earth is my God, and my spiritual Father.

  Yahweh I rededicate my life afresh unto You this minute and seat myself afresh under the
jurisdiction of Your power and authority, Your protection and rules. By my faith in Jesus
Christ and my belief that You are able, I petition You Father to bring healing and deliverance
to every area of my life that is in bondage to the consequences of what my sins have brought
upon to me and Father rescind every legal right the devil is claiming a legal right to torment
me or oppress my soul.

    I submit every part of me my body, soul, spirit, emotions, needs, desires, hurts, and
oppressions into Your hands for this work of healing and deliverance to take place. I
appoint You to have the highest precedence of authority and jurisdiction over every part of
me and over every sin, stronghold, emotional wall, root and work the devil has against me. 
Your will be done Father in delivering me from everything that binds, restricts, controls and
robs me of my peace not mine, or the devils.

    In Jesus Christ's name I take authority over every dark spirit that would attempt to interfere 
in my receiving deliverance, especially the spirit of confusion and fear and I command them
bound. Unite my spirit to Your Spirit Father. Strengthen me in Your strength. Fill my body from
the bottom of my toes to the top of my head with the warm, alive, anointed, atoning, blessed,
victorious, sanctified, consecrated blood that Jesus Christ shed for me at Calvary. Cleanse 
every part of me (including my stomach, intestines, and bowels) with Your anointed Holy
Spirit and the power that is in the blood of Jesus Christ. Purge every work of oppression from
me.

    I claim my authority over all power of the enemy by the authority Jesus has given me in 
Luke 10: 19, and I proclaim my victory over every sin, negative feeling/ emotion, bad
thought/ memory and spiritual influence satan has been using against me to tempt me to sin,
or to influence me to become fearful, anxious, angered, to feel unworthy etc. Father I petition
You to change my very nature this day from being sinful, to being righteous. From being in
bondage to negative emotions, mental anguish and oppressive living to living in victory as a 
new creation by the fruit of Your Holy Spirit. (Speak forth the changes you are looking for 
God to bring to Your life and claim them for yourself before God)

    Father I forgive afresh every person who has ever sinned against me and I repent afresh every
sin I have ever committed. I forgive every person who has physically, or emotionally hurt me 
and who has contributed to me being negative in my thinking, to me believing lies about 
myself and to my having emotional hurts and emotional walls formed within me and which
keep an area of my mind, body, or soul in bondage. Forgive me Abba for every person I have
hurt by action, word, or deed. (Ask God to bring to your mind anything, or anyone you
need to forgive, ask forgiveness for, renounce, repent of etc, and do it before you continue.)
   
    I take authority over every spirit that has set itself up over the strongholds and oppressions 
of my life and I command each of these spirits, especially the strongman, bound and
rendered powerless. (Name each spirit by name that you discern you need deliverance
from and which you are wanting bound and rendered powerless.) I command each spirit
blocked from drawing, or receiving any power from any other spirit, or source, and blocked 
from lending any power to any other spirit.


                                                       Pulling down the strongholds 

    Name/ confess the oppressive feelings, or negative emotions that you realize has been 
working against the harmony of your life such as fear, anxiety, guilt, shame, anger, depression,
discouragement, despair, intimidation, a controlling spirit, unworthiness, rejection,
insecurities, loneliness, doubt, confusion etc., 

  Note:  Take your time with each part and do not move on to the next part until you feel, or the 
Holy Spirit impresses upon to you that what needed to be said was said.

    Rebuke the spirit that rules over the negative feelings/ emotions of your life and tell it that
you will no longer allow it to rule over you, or any portion of your life and that you are 
divorcing yourself from the influences it has had over you. That any agreement, invitation,or
open door you gave to this spirit to come into your life is now rescinded and nullified. Let it 
be known to that spirit that you will no longer be complacent and allow it to manipulate you and
your emotions any longer.

    Pull down and demolish the strongholds that have formed against you and petition God 
in the name of Jesus Christ to uproot every negative influence that has contributed to you
believing that this emotion has had a power over you, or that this emotion should hold power
over you. 

  For example: (I command the strongholds you have built over my life spirit of fear pulled 
down this very moment and demolished, and I command your every root and work of 
oppression against me uprooted and burnt up in the fire that the Holy Spirit has burning in
my life.  And whatever else you feel led to speak out at this point. 

    Proclaim your faith that God is bigger than the emotion/ or emotions that has been ruling
over your life (emotions such as fear, anxiety, anger, unworthiness, rejection, despair, 
hopelessness and tell the spirits that have been ruling over these emotions, in Jesus Christ's 
name, that you are taking back your personal empowerment that these spirits had been
usurping from you and command these spirits to go to dry and arid places. 

  Note: Don't be afraid to be vocal as you speak out and take your authority over the
oppressing strongholds as you call them down. Sometimes this is exactly what some people
need to do. To finally get mad at the oppressions that have been ruling over them and to take
an authoritative stance. Some people have a hard time to stand up for themself because of the
type of person they are and because of how the oppressions of their life have subdued them. 

    Speak against whatever feeling, or emotion you are needing to be set free from, renounce 
it's position in your life and proclaim your trust in God that He will help you rise above these 
feelings and that you will indeed have victory over them. Then invite God to help you have that
victory, to help teach you new coping skills, to help teach you how to trust in God more for 
your needs in that no emotion shall ever again rule over and distort the harmony of your life.

                If you feel the victory over this spirit at this time praise Him for that also. 

    If your problem is anger, renounce the position that anger has been playing in your life and 
call upon God's peace and love to abide within you and dissolve the anger within you and speak
your trust that God will help you. If your problem is unworthiness or rejection, renounce that 
unworthiness/ rejection from your life and invite God's feelings of acceptance and adequacy to 
flood in and over you to quash all feelings of unworthiness and rejection from your life, and so
on for each type of emotion.

    You want to nullify the curse of whatever negative emotion has set itself up and against your
life, (and which satan is dominating and manipulating your life by) and replace it with a 
blessing from God. You will want to nullify the growth of satan's seeds of negativity that got 
planted within you and invite God to plant new seeds within you.

    Expelling the bad and replacing it with the good. Closing a door to the devil and opening one
for God. Setting your boundaries with the devil/ taking away his legal rights and giving God 
the open invitation to have free reign to work growth, deliverance and healing into every area 
of your life.

    In finishing -  Command each spirit that had formed and was enforcing a stronghold 
against you to be sent to dry and arid places and ask God to fill every void within you with
His Holy Spirit and to seal this work of deliverance with His signet ring. Then continue 
reading out this prayer.   

    By the name and the blood of Jesus Christ I proclaim that the chains which have kept an area
of my soul in bondage broken, that the strongholds which were against me are pulled down
and demolished, that the emotional walls that was restricting my emotions and hindering God
from healing them torn down and that the dark spirits that were working in those strongholds 
were bound and sent to dry and arid places. I proclaim every legal right satan had to impose
oppression and bondage in my life revoked, rescinded and taken away from him. I proclaim
my freedom from the sins and emotional strongholds that had held part of me in bondage. I
decree the weapons satan had used against me, destroyed. 

    Abba I request to receive intercession from the power which is in the name and the Blood of
Jesus Christ in that each word, each request and each command spoken in this prayer shall be
expedited and finalized by You. Father sanction and release a double portion of Your anointing
into my life and into the requests of my prayers. I thank you Jesus Christ for Your faithfulness
to the Throne of God, and I thank You Abba for loving me.

                       Give God Your Praises                             "And All of the Glory"   


    This prayer should be read out loud, (not loudly, but spoken out) for you are taking authority
over negative influences and commanding demons (which have been assigned to enforce a
stronghold, or several strongholds against you) to bow down to the greater authority by which
you are commanding them by (the name of Jesus Christ) and for them to relinquish their 
position in that stronghold.

    Before starting this Deliverance Prayer you should take the time to seek God for His direction
and to ask Him to reveal to you what the major strongholds are that are against your life and what
issues need to be resolved so as to give you a greater understanding of what you need to focus 
on, or include in this prayer.

    If you do not feel you are hearing anything from the Lord regarding strongholds etc, or you are
not sure what you are hearing you can read our writing on deliverance to help you determine what
needs to be addressed. You can determine what the greatest stronghold is against your life and
what strongman spirit is overseeing these strongholds by realizing what emotion oppresses you
the most, what causes you the greatest strife, or struggle and what sin you are most tempted by.

    Forgiveness work should be done prior to doing this deliverance prayer, (people you know you
need to forgive, or forgiveness you know you should be seeking God for) but if the Holy Spirit
brings to your mind a person, or situation to forgive as your reading the prayer out, then take the
 time to do so before continuing. Don't forget to offer up to God any bitterness, or hurt feelings
you may have associated to that forgiveness.
